AC Repair, Install & Replacement in Beacon, NY

D. Rohde Home Services installed a Mitsubishi SUZ‑AK48NLHZ 48,000 BTU Hyper‑Heat system with an SVZ‑AP48NL air handler. The outdoor unit was set on the left side of the home with a gravel‑base stand, new electrical from the breaker panel, covered refrigerant lines, and surge protection. A branch box was placed in the basement for easy service access.

We removed the gas furnace, capped the gas line, and isolated the electrical. The new Mitsubishi air handler was grafted into the existing ductwork, tied into the drain line, and connected to a Honeywell MHK2 wireless thermostat with a KUMO WiFi adapter for Mitsubishi Comfort App control.

A clean, efficient upgrade delivering reliable all‑electric heating and cooling.
