Call came in from a homeowner on Davis Road — AC wasn't cooling and the unit was short-cycling every few minutes. Tech found a failed dual run capacitor (a 45+5 MFD rated well below spec on the meter) on a Carrier unit that was around 12 years old. Capacitor was swapped out on the spot, the compressor came right up, and the system was holding the set temperature before the tech left the driveway.
